The Chesapeake Standard is an independent online news and press release publication covering the Chesapeake Bay, Maryland and Virginia. Headlines are aggregated through Google News, always credited to the outlet that published them and linked to the original article. Paid press releases from businesses and organizations are labelled “Advertorial”; we do not independently verify, endorse or guarantee their content. See our About & Editorial Policy.
By accessing The Chesapeake Standard, you agree to these terms. Content is offered for personal, non-commercial use; you may link to and share our pages, but wholesale reproduction requires written consent. You agree not to use the site unlawfully or to harvest content by automated means.
Press releases are paid placements contributed by outside parties. They are labelled "Advertorial" and appear as submitted. Such content does not reflect the views of The Chesapeake Standard, and we make no guarantee as to its accuracy or completeness. Responsibility for that content rests with the issuing party.
