Chesapeake Bay Foundation Reports Record Oyster Restoration Season
ANNAPOLIS, Md. — The Chesapeake Bay Foundation today reported its most productive oyster-restoration season on record, crediting a surge in volunteer turnout.
"Every reef we rebuild makes the Bay a little cleaner," a program director said. The oysters filter water and provide habitat for local species.
